Back in 2010, Recruiting In Motion founders, Sean Kogan and Paul Vendittelli, were senior-level recruitment professionals. They were happily working along, making placements and earning a good living, when they woke up and realized the company they worked for was taking 60 cents on every dollar they billed. Worse, the company could change the commission structure whenever they wanted to take even more of their paychecks.

Their bank accounts weren’t the only things being affected. The stress from long hours and relentless managers took a toll on their health and relationships with their families. And no matter how hard they worked, it was never enough. 

Sean and Paul watched nervously as senior-level people were let go or quit one by one. How long before it was their turn? It felt like they were always just one bad quarter away from hitting the bricks.
In 2010 Sean and Paul left a large corporate recruiting firm to form their own company, Recruiting In Motion. What happened next is revolutionizing the recruiting industry.  
So, in 2010 they left to form their own company, Recruiting In Motion. 
Now as business owners and not just employees, they were able to work when they wanted and with whom they wanted without having to give away 60%-70% of their commissions to an employer. 
But it wasn't easy. Starting a business from scratch is hard work. Sean and Paul had to come up with everything: branding, business cards, websites, and the complex systems that would allow them to compete with the large recruiting firms. Needless to say, there were a lot of sleepless nights.  

But it wasn’t long before Sean and Paul realized that they were right.

They didn’t need to have the logo of a top-ten recruiting firm on their business cards in order to get contracts and place candidates. Moreover, they didn’t have to give up 60%-70% of their Billings!  

Soon, seasoned recruiters from across the country, who were also tired of their commission structures and corporate politics, started to reach out to Sean and Paul asking if they could join Recruiting In Motion.
